How we distribute donations:

Monetary Donations: Monetary donations are added to our dedicated "Bucks for Beds" fund. We use these funds to purchase new mattress sets from Croydon Mattress Factory. Vouchers for new sets are then distributed to our Fresh Start Donation Center clients in the same manner as all other donations made to the center. All clients must be referred to us from outside social service agencies or religious congregations, and must have been homeless, for whatever reason, within the last two years. Referred clients are served on a first-come, first-serve basis, and clients may only utilize the center's services one time.

Gifts-in-Kind: Gifts-in-kind, or donations of mattresses/box springs/bedding rather than monetary donations, are added to our donation center's stock. These are then distributed in the same manner as all other furniture donations made to our center. All clients must be referred to us from outside social service agencies or religious congregations, and must have been homeless, for whatever reason, within the last two years. Referred clients are served on a first-come, first-serve basis, and clients may only utilize the center's services one time.
