Financial

It takes money to pay for construction materials, contractors, and development costs associated with building and rehabilitating homes in Bucks County.  Likewise, money pays to help find volunteers who can make strong commitments in support of the needy.  Money also pays for the services provided directly to our clients such as mortgage and budget counseling and free furniture distribution.  The hope of owning a home comes only as a result of your generosity and the generosity of others.  That's why we invite you to become a Sustaining Member of Interfaith Housing.  Your tax-deductible gift will help continue our work for years to come.  Your gift does make a difference!

Bucks for Beds

The Bucks for Beds program is a dedicated fund within the Fresh Start Donation Center which provides new mattresses and box springs to families reforming their households from scratch. The donation center's most frequently requested items are mattresses and box springs, and they're also the least frequently donated. Bucks for Beds needs your help! If you would like to make a directed donation to the Bucks for Beds program, please mark your check "Bucks for Beds," and mail it to our office. Or, donate online with the Donate button to the left, and mark "Bucks for Beds" in the purpose field.

Furniture and Housewares

Interfaith Housing maintains a warehouse of used furniture and household items to help our tenants get a start in their new homes.  We accept the following items in good condition.  You may drop these items off at the IHDC office during business hours. We offer a limited pickup service; please call the office for more information. 215-945-8630 ext. 109. All donations are tax deductible per Internal Revenue Service guidelines.

Currently, we can only pick up furniture items within

Lower Bucks County.

Due to the high volume of requests for pickups and our limited number of volunteers,

we are currently placing new requests on a waiting list.

If you would like to help us reduce our backlog of requests and pickup furniture in our truck, please click here to volunteer!
